DonaldTrump paid his respects to America’s Second World War dead at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii yesterday on his way across the Pacific to begin a tour of Asia overshadowed by the spectre of a fresh conflict.
The US president made no public mention of North Korea as he visited the memorial commemorating the attack that had pulled America into the war.
